Nagarkot Changunarayan Trekking is two days short and sweet hiking trail of nearby Kathmandu valley. It offers you the real image of village life, hiking hills, mountain views and cultural history of the country. Join us; we give you the sweet introduction of Nepal’s superb nature and culture.

The growing town of Sankhu is in one-hour driving distance from Kathmandu. The Vajrayogini temple of the town is drawing the attention of all travelers. From Sankhu, our trial directs towards the imaginary hill station Nagarkot which offers magnificent mountain, sunrise & sunset view along with its fresh blooming environment. Changunarayan complex is well decorated with fine art and architecture, so is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites of Nepal.

Detail Itinerary

We will receive you from your hotel, as per time set and drive to Sankhu (40 min drive from kathmandu). It is a newar dominated town which is one of the famous pilgrimage sites for all Hindus. The temple of Vajrayogini carries a huge religious value. From Sankhu we start hike along the beautiful hills till to Nagarkot. Overnight at Nagarkot.

Meal Included: Lunch & Dinner

Today the early morning is featured by spectacular sunrise view over the Himalaya. The first rays of the sun gradually colored the glowing mountains from pink, gold and to the sparking silver white. After having breakfast, we do our second day hiking to Changunarayan temple complex. This is one of the oldest temple architecture of Nepal and the stone inscription of the complex is the first recorded history of the country. Explore the unique environment of the surrounding village and drive back to Kathmandu and have our farewell dinner.
